The 13th Annual Lighting the Way - Scholarship Fundraiser is one of three major fundraising events for Envision Children. Ticket sales and donations provide scholarships to the organization's Academic Summer Enrichment Program (ASEP).

The ASEP is an eight-week summer educational day camp accredited by the American Camping Association and the Ohio Department of Education.  Student instruction is concentrated on math and reading, but includes electives in other STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) subjects. 

The two primary goals for ASEP are to mitigate or eliminate summer learning loss and to help students not performing at Ohio proficiency rates for math and reading to get back on track for their grade level.

The 2018 Lighting the Way Annual Scholarship Fundraiser is scheduled for Sunday, April 29, 2018, from 12-3 p.m. at Prime Cincinnati.  The cost to attend the event is $50 per person.   A special VIP ticket is available for $75 and includes bottomless mimosas and valet parking.
